Well what a wedding this one was.. My first time at the fantastic Clearwell Castle in the Forest Of Dean and I must say this is an amazing place for a Wedding with its beautiful grounds and historic castle makes for some lovely images.
Helen and Andrew are a lovely couple and it is clear to see a couple very much in love. Having spent some time with them on their pre wedding shoot and consultation I was really looking forward to working with them again and couldn't wait to shoot their wedding for them..
The day started off overcast with a little bit of rain in the sky but not even this could dampen the mood with the bridal party in good spirits when I arrived for the bridal prep, something that didn't change the whole day even when standing outside (in the rain) for group shots. With the Helen & Andrew both getting ready at the venue it also allowed me to spend some time with the gents as they decorated the Wedding transport for the day, anyone who knows Andrew would know it could only be one thing.. Thats right a Tractor.. Quite possibly the cleanest one i have seen too ..
After the civil service the couple opted to have their Wedding blessed at Clearwell Church, a lovely idea and it really is a lovely church too, Very dark in there but we managed some lovely images inside by candle light.
A lovely day was had by everyone in this classic venue and I would like to thank Helen and Andrew for choosing me to capture their big day.. Im so pleased you were pleased with your images and I would personally like to wish you every happiness in the world for your futures together. Hopefully we will get to work together again in the future and if not before I will see you at Amy & Gareth's Wedding.
